Join SouthWest Animal Team in Making a Difference

Every animal deserves a second chance. That's the promise we're making to Valencia County. We've purchased the land and built the trailer!! Now, we need your help to make it all happen in the very near future! Your contribution will help provide the medical equipment for our new 40ft custom spay/neuter and transport trailer as well as fund the construction of our new adoption center. Right now, we provide emergency care to animals here in VC as well as many other things we make happen by working directly with Valencia County Animal Services on a daily basis, but with these new tools, we will be able to save hundreds of animals each month. Join us in building a brighter future for our four-legged friends and give our community something to be proud of for years to come! 

At SouthWest Animal Team, we are committed to ending the euthanasia of companion animals in Valencia County. We assist in providing essential resources such as low-cost spay/neuter services and veterinary assistance to support our community and Valencia County Animal Services in Los Lunas NM.

There are many ways to support SouthWest Animal Team 's mission. You can make a donation, Every contribution makes a difference! Sign up to volunteer at Valencia County Animal Services. Become a foster with a local rescue or adopt directly from the shelter! Share our facebook posts of animals for adoption. Talk to your child’s school about doing a donation drive to support the dogs and cats currently in the shelter.

SouthWest Animal Team has been making a significant impact since 2020, helping with low-cost spay/neuter services, emergency veterinary care, pet food, and more. We're dedicated to creating lasting change in our community. Currently, we're focused on equipping our custom spay/neuter trailer and developing the land we purchased in August, moving us closer to expanding our services and saving more lives!
